Jessica Lauren Cook, is Jody & Dawn’s, 13 year old daughter. Jessica is a Champion barrel racer with belt buckles to prove it. Jessica will tell you the key to her winning is that Lex (an Arabian gelding) is light and responsive to her cues. Jessica has earned his respect through natural horsemanship techniques, so he is a willing partner. Time was invested in helping Lex to understand simple cues that make his speed and direction controllable under pressure. Jessica will tell you...it is Achievable! |
